The Rapture ("Christians Taken up")?

• As for more detailed end time facts of the Bible, we must rely on faith and believe the Lord Jesus Christ for what we understand clearly and for what we simply just don't know.  Stretching or assuming words and/or phrase meanings in the Bible and/or assuming other imagined perspectives can likely lead to error.  Remember, "now we see dimly as through a glass" (1 Cor. 13:12).  Apart from this, people can make personal comments about these parts of the Bible and should stress that this is just their personal thoughts and opinions.  Although some things are hard to understand, the fact is God has a plan and it will come to pass.  Just be prepared to  accept whatever God does during the "end times" or "last days".

Christ 1st coming is different than the 2nd coming 

1 Thess 4:13-18   13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Christ 2nd Coming is different than the 1st coming:

Rev. 19:11-15   11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
