(Gospel music style beginning 1970)
Gospel music has various styles. Gospel music is generally presented by hymns (which typically is about and describes God who is the Lord Jesus Christ), Christian music (which is typically about gratitude, devotion, respect, closeness, with love and affection ) and gospel music (which typically expresses the singers personal experience of God). Christian music, generally started with King David and later with Chuck Smith's Calvary Chapel (Maranatha Music) and were first published in 1971 by converted hippies. However, Evie Tournquist-Karlsson at the age of 16 also separately started Christain music in 1974. Many Christian groups since the 1970's use a mixture of gospel music styles. This often leads to some conflict between older and younger congregants. Matt 22:37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment." Also Isaiah 12:4-5. Many Christian music are songs of love for God and His Son Jesus Christ. Just know that the power for it all is in God's Word, not man's word. So true Christian music first originates in the Word of God and finds it way into song when man incorporates it.

GENERAL MUSIC INFORMATION:
Special Note: Not all music words, even music styles that are very pleasing to your emotions, are bibically correct. This is a serious matter. All music subjects and words presented must be carefully examined and compared with the Word of God before you accept it. Religious groups having significant errors have used music styles to produce both unacceptable and acceptable songs. So please be very careful, examine closely the songs you are listening to and avoid songs with biblical and doctrinal errors or are so vague the song and its subject and words could mean anything or be directed to just about anyone you imagine. If it is not clearly biblical and directed to or for the Lord God Jesus Christ, then avoid and discard the song. Finally some of these religious groups may start an acceptable and very productable ministry, but later deteriate into a very bad source of teachings and songs. Filter out the acceptable and avoid the unacceptable, so do your homework and be blessed with "making melody in your heart to the Lord" as Eph. 5:19 shows you.
1 Cor 13:1-3 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Eph. 5:17-21 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.
Psalm 150:3-6 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! 4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! 5 Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Bethel & Hillsong Church Problems
Every Church likely has some true Christians and some false Christians
Both Bethel & Hillsong are no exceptions
Examine each of their songs for correct doctrine.
